שי פרידמן הוא Microsoft MVP בתחום ה C# והמחבר של הספרים IronRuby Unleashed ו- ASP.NET 4 Programmer's Reference. עם יותר מ- 10 שנות נסיון בענף פיתוח התכנה, שי עובד כיום בחברת CodeValue, אשר הוא אחד ממייסדיה, שם הוא עובד כיועץ ומדריך בתחום הפיתוח ל web, הענן המייקרוסופטי Windows Azure ושפות דינמיות. לשי נסיון רב בהרצאות בכנסים בארץ ובעולם כגון TechEd, RubyKaigi, NDC, SDC, DevLink ועוד.
